Suncoast Wedding & Event Leaders, or SWEL, is an industry collective helping strengthen businesses through top quality networking events, stellar education and increasing referral streams through verifiability and visibility.

We are NOW located in Sarasota, Manatee, Hillsborough and Pinellas counties.

Members of SWEL are more than just vendors buying tickets to incredible events. They are visionaries, tastemakers, innovators and creators making fantastic experiences for their clients. SWEL members are building their businesses while simultaneously building a community. They are staying on top of trends, growing their networks, and continually updating their best practices in an ever-changing industry.

Our members do more than trade business cards. They trade knowledge while developing relationships that transcend event day. And mostly, they are leaders.

Suncoast Wedding & Event Leaders (SWEL) has been increasing networking and educational opportunities for event professionals on the Suncoast of Florida since 2016. These events are designed to help build relationships, develop essential skills for building your business and strengthening the wedding and event community.

SWEL Events happen typically on the second Tuesday or Wednesday of the month. Attendees can purchase tickets a la carte or sign up for an annual membership. With 200 members as well as hundreds of non-member attendees, we are the largest wedding vendor group from Sarasota to St. Pete. Our members come from as far south as Naples and up through Tampa and Orlando.
